Terms and Conditions for Online Learning

1. General Provisions
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to ITB Indonesia students using the official online learning platform.
1.2 By registering and accessing the online learning platform, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the provisions stated herein.
1.3 ITB Indonesia reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2. Registration and Access
2.1 Students must register using their official ITB Indonesia email and provide accurate and truthful information.
2.2 Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing account credentials with others is strictly prohibited.
2.3 Students are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any unauthorized access resulting from negligence is the responsibility of the account holder.
3. Use of the Platform
3.1 The online learning platform is intended for educational purposes and official academic activities only.
3.2 Students are required to engage in online classes respectfully and avoid any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, disruptive comments, or spamming.
3.3 Students are expected to maintain a stable internet connection and ensure their devices are compatible with the platform’s requirements.
4. Course Materials
4.1 All course materials provided through the platform, including lecture recordings, notes, assignments, and other resources, are the intellectual property of ITB Indonesia or its lecturers.
4.2 Students are granted a limited license to use these materials exclusively for personal study. Copying, distributing, or using the materials for non-academic purposes is strictly prohibited.
5. Assessment and Academic Integrity
5.1 Students must complete assignments, quizzes, and exams independently, adhering to the university’s academic integrity policies.
5.2 Plagiarism, cheating, or any form of dishonesty will result in academic sanctions, including but not limited to suspension or expulsion.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 ITB Indonesia is committed to protecting students’ personal information in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
6.2 Personal data collected through the platform will only be used for academic and administrative purposes.

7. Technical Support
7.1 Students experiencing technical difficulties must report issues to ITB Indonesia’s IT Support team promptly.
7.2 ITB Indonesia is not responsible for issues caused by the student’s device, internet connection, or external factors beyond the platform’s control.
8. Suspension or Termination of Access
8.1 ITB Indonesia reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student’s access to the platform for violations of these Terms and Conditions or the university’s code of conduct.
8.2 Students whose access is terminated due to misconduct will not be eligible for refunds or academic compensation.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 ITB Indonesia will not be held liable for any personal loss, damage, or injury incurred during the use of the online learning platform.
9.2 The platform is provided “as is,” and the university does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance.
10. Certification and Academic Records
10.1 Course completion certificates or grades will only be awarded to students who meet all the academic requirements.
10.2 Students are responsible for ensuring their submissions and attendance comply with course deadlines.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
11.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
By registering and using the online learning platform, students of ITB Indonesia agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
